A total of 1,824 members of Tricycle Operators and Drivers' Associations (TODA) in this town received financial assistance under the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Cash Relief Assistance (CRA) program on April 27 at the Villasis Public Auditorium.
Each beneficiary was granted P5,000 in cash aid to help offset the impact of rising fuel prices, allowing tricycle drivers to sustain their daily operations despite ongoing economic pressures. The assistance aims to cushion the effects of the current energy challenges linked to tensions in the Middle East, which have contributed to increased fuel costs.
