The National Commission of Senior Citizens together with the Local Government Unit of Villasis, led by Mayor Dita Abrenica, and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, conducted the distribution of cash gifts to 278 senior citizens.
The beneficiaries, composed of octogenarians (80–89 years old), nonagenarians (90–99 years old), and centenarians (100 years old and above), received their incentives in line with Republic Act No. 11982, also known as the Expanded Centenarians Act. This law enhances government support by providing milestone cash gifts to senior citizens as they reach advanced age.
