The local government unit of Villasis conducted its Second Evalaution for Aksiyon ng Barangay Kontra Droga (ABAKADA) on September 12 to 15, 2017 at the twenty-one barangays.
The evaluators are Focal Person of Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council Focal Person, Rolando Morden; Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator, Mr. Roderick Mina; Police Chief Inspector Brendon Palisoc ; Municipal Local Government Operations Officer, Mrs. Eduviges Villanueva; Municipal Health Office, Dr. Gloria Liberato; Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer, Ms. Lilibeth Abrenica; National Chaplain of the Philippines Member, Ptr. Ronnie Realin.
ABAKADA is a program of Mayor Nato launched February in support to President Duterte’s program against illegal drugs. The first ABAKADA evaluation was held last March. The last evaluation will be on December.
The announcement of winners for the ABAKADA Program will be on Barangay Night, January 2018. The winners will be receiving set of communication equipment for barangay hall, patrol and civilian volunteer officers (CVO), portable radios and cash prize.
