The newly-improved Don Victor M. Abrenica Multipurpose Hall in Barangay Barraca was officially blessed in a ceremony led by Rev. Fr. Franklin Tandingan. Mayor Dita Abrenica, Former Mayor Nonato Abrenica, former ABC President Romeo Abrenica, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, Engr. Vladimir Torres, Former Barangay Captain Ferdinand Sales, the Barangay Barraca Council, led by Barangay Captain Diamante S. Marron, the Sangguniang Kabataan, BHWs, and CVOs were also present.
The upgraded facility now features improved courts for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball, providing free modern and functional venue for sports development and community activities. In addition to serving as a recreational hub, the center is designed to function as an evacuation facility during emergencies, ensuring safety and preparedness for residents.
Villasis has now 4 facilities for big events—the Public Auditorium, Gymnasium, Activity Center, and now the Don Victor M. Abrenica Multipurpose Hall.
