The Local Government Unit of Villasis took part on the Clean-up Drive in connection with the Proclamation No. 760 Series of 2014 and 17th Signing Anniversary of Republic Act 9003 known as “ Ecological Solid Waste Management Act: Environmental Protection through Proper Solid Waste Practice” by cleaning the riverbanks of Agno River.
The Clean-up Drive was participated by the Municipal Officials of Villasis, employees of the Local Government Unit, School Heads of Villasis District I and District II, Don Ramon E Costales Memorial National High School Department Heads and Supreme Student Government Officers and Volunteers, Villa “3800” Base, DELTACOM Philippines, Inc. Members, Philippine Guardians Brotherhood Inc. Members, and the Solid Waste Action Team of Villasis.
This Clean and Green project was coordinated by the Municipal Planning and Development Office. With this, the Villasinians are looking for more projects and activities to save our Mother Earth.
