LGU Villasis conducted a free “Basic Computer and Digital Literacy Training and Seminar” on May 29- June 2, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Municipal Library under the able supervision of Mr. Richie Sibayan.
The five-day seminar was attended by the Liga ng mga Barangay President, Romeo S. Abrenica, Barangay Secretaries and Treasurers and teachers. The seminar covered basic computer operations and digital literacy. For the first three days, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel was lectured and hands-on training on the afternoon. For the last two days, Digital Processing and Photo Editing using Adobe Photoshop were lectured. The participants were given a certificate upon the completion of the five-day seminar.
The next Basic Computer Training and Seminar will cater to the Senior Citizens.
