Vegetable vendors and market-goers can now enjoy safe selling and buying of Villasis famous commodity this rainy season, thanks to the timely finish of the construction of the all-weather open-type market between the Municipal Hall and the Catholic Church.

     Attended by elected officials led by Mayor Nato And his wife, the former Mayor Dita, Vice Mayor Cheryll Tan, Mun. Councilors - Nong Costales, Butch Racadio, Rolly Morden and SK Fed. President Rey Sales, Municipal Engr. Vladimir Torres and Market Supervisor Engr. Ronnie Cacapit, the P7 million structure was blessed and inaugurated in a ceremony officiated by Reverend Fr.Joel Ynzon.

     An added bonus is that the view at the People’s Boulevard is now neater and more orderly. Towards maintaining this, municipal government have provided a standard “ligaton type” display rack to all tenants. The Office of the Market Supervisor will see to it that the boundaries and walkways are properly maintained.
