The Villasis Drying Facility started its palay drying operation (Wet Season) last October 3 by buying wet palays to stabilize the prices thus helping our farmers through higher price yields.

Mr. Reynaldo Mundo, Municipal Agriculturist, said that more than 400 tonnages were able to cater on the first three days of the drying operation due to minor weather disturbances.

Mayor Nato monitors over-all operation of the plant. Mr. Gilbert Nebres, is in-charge of the operation with able assistance of Mr. Arnel Arimas. Engr. Vladimir Torres, Municipal Engineer, is in-charge on the drying equipment. Mr. Francisco Bajo,  is in-charge of Quality Control, Mr. Noli Amorin, in-charge of weighing scale, Mr. Michael Corpus, in-charge of Billing and Mr. Efren Lopez, in-charge of receipts and payment.

The  palay drying operation would last until the end of harvest time.
