VILLASIS MUNICIPAL LIBRARY (VML) was awarded recognition as 5th highest increase in the number of registered Tech4Ed platform users among partner libraries nationwide from February 27-March 31, 2017 by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).

February and March are months wherein students especially those in secondary level come to the Library to do their research to carry their projects and requirements in their classes. Students come to the library from 5:00 in the afternoon and so the library is open until 6:30 p.m. to accommodate and assist them with their information needs.

VML became a TECH4ED CENTER on August 2016 after the province wide launching of Tech4Ed Centers of Pangasinan held at Provincial Library. Tech4ed hubs are aimed to uplift digital literacy and to bring digital opportunities to the most marginalized and vulnerable sectors of the society through a single online portal which contains various segments: e-EduSkills aims to deliver e-Learning on demand to address the education divide.e-Assist Focuses on providing learning and continuous skills development opportunities for digital inclusion for special sectors such as women, People With Disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens, Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) including their families and relatives, Career shifters, and teachers.e-Assess provides the citizen an industry assessment and certification from Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Job Portals, industry assessments and industry certification. e-GovServe: Provides direct government services to rural communities through the Tech4Ed Centers. This segment is an aggregation of various content and services from other government agencies, making the Tech4Ed Platform a one-stop shop for selected government services.e-Agri: contents and services on agriculture technologies for farmers and fisher folks.eMarketplace Provides greater market reach beyond the entrepreneurs’ community for exponential economic growth and opportunities.
