Villasis Resort formally opens on March 2, 2018 in conjunction with the celebration of the 211th Founding Anniversary of Villasis.
The ceremony was attended by the Municipal Officials headed by Mayor Nato, by PCI Brendon Palisoc and PNP Officers, Armand C. Corpuz and BFP Officers, District I and District II School Heads, 189 Principals headed by Dr. Rowena Lea G. Moreno, Villasis Water District Board of Directors and employees headed by GM Susan Q. Sison, and employees of the local government unit of Villasis.
During the event FVM Roderick ER Mina, Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator distributed an extensive research on the History of Villasis: Rediscovering the Past done by Ms. Elnora C. Salinas, a resident of Brgy. Amamperez.
The funding of the construction of the Villasis Resort cum Evacuation Center came from the P3M PCF SGLG Award. Mayor Nato mentioned on his speech the development plan for the 5.5 hectares lot, wherein he plans to put up Recreational Facilities and Amusement Park.
Mayor Nato thanked Engr. Vladimir Torres and Mr. Arnel Arimas, Tourism Officer, for making the project come into realization. He also expressed his gratitude to the Sangguniang Bayan Members headed by Vice Mayor Jesus Franco A. Sison, Jr. and everybody for their all-out support to the projects of the local government unit.
